Every data warehouse has them: old tables nobody can explain and nobody dares to delete. At CarOnSale, a third of our dbt project in Snowflake was legacy. As a junior analytics engineer, I took on the cleanup many companies keep postponing. I'll share why data debt matters more once AI queries your data warehouse, how I tackled it manually and then with Claude Code, and what changed for our team.
